PARTY POOPER

This is a painting I did for this years 'Art With Heart' exhibition last Sept.

‘Monday’s Child’ was the theme for this year’s Art with Heart
exhibition, which will again draw on the talents of the Storm Design and Brand DNA families and some well-known Australian faces.

All the artwork was sold in a blind auction to raise money
for charity. This year it was raising money for the
Melbourne Citymission’s Breakfast Clubs, which provide a healthy breakfast at school for children experiencing disadvantage.

Our goal is to bring together a community that channels our combined creative energy to raise money for good people who do goods things for those in need.

The amount raised by Art with Heart over the last seven years has topped $100,000. Art with Heart 2008 raised more than $26,000 for St Vincent’s Soup Kitchen. Last year’s event was the most successful yet, allowing St Vinnies to purchase an additional Soup Van.

I was buzzed to be a part of it and look forward to next year.
